About us
Everything began with a conversation with a close friend about health, touching on education and the well-being of the human body. It was then that the question of how our clothing is made came up, and I immediately felt that this was the path to start my business. I began to research and, step by step, discovered a world I didn’t know. I combined my own need, as a consumer, for clothing different from what the general market offered with the wish to take care of my skin.
AMERICATINO. Your second skin.
I realized there is room in the market for a brand that offers what we truly need: good information and good clothing.
One of Americatino’s guidelines is to produce everything in a single country. The best part is that the United States has everything necessary to make it possible.
Why American Pima cotton
American Pima cotton comes from the species Gossypium barbadense and is grown in the United States, mainly in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
- Extra-long staple fiber: its fibers are longer than those of conventional cotton, which makes a smoother, finer yarn.
- Stronger and softer: the result is a fabric that is stronger and softer than conventional cotton, and resists wear over time.
- Color retention: the fiber takes dye well and keeps its color through repeated washes.
- Grown in the USA: from the field in the American Southwest to your wardrobe.
Wears well. Washes well. Built to outlast the season.
Americatino is a brand, but it is also a way of living. The garments I created were inspired by my experiences traveling through Florida, connected with its environment, its seasons and the changes in nature.
AMERICATINO. Simple by design. Reliable by material.
